~The Anima-Ture~

The first thing that came up to me was 'why is there a girl running with a baseball bat?' and then we saw a group of girls and what got to me was that their cheeks are so shiny! When they started communicating with each other i couldn't help but to think about Lucky star. It does seem that Run is the most popular character in this series haunted by playboys which Tooru (the girl with the bat) chased away.

It already became very clear to me that this serious has a lot of misunderstandings as when Run was going to introduce her two friends to Tooru. Tooru seems to hate big breasts because she is a perfect image of a loli.... Flat chested (i love that we in real life can say it without any fear of being clubbed to death). I do hate how they put the clumsiness in clumsy! Tooru her clothes were dirty and then got questioned what happened (which was a short misunderstanding) and quickly explained that Run was distracted by a butterfly and tried to catch it while walking on the streets. While she was explaining this we saw Run trying to follow a butterfly and bumped into the window and later on when waving at Tooru she almost fell out of the window again by being distracted.
I do like the random moment that they all listen to the rain and yes you'll have to watch the second episode of A channel to get it. Tooru really is the cutest one so far but what bugs me is why the hell she is wearing an oversized sweater! And then we got this weird guy who looks like a pedophile and acts somewhat like one with a fetish for foreheads who is suddenly the school nurse. Once again Tooru is the cutest one out of the 4 of them as she squeezes Yuuko so hard she passes out.

She pretty much puts this face up every time when she is going to do something to Yuuko. Small example of what she does

I couldn't stop laughing when they were cleaning the pool and somehow i wanted to do it too. Episode 5 was nothing special but some fan service for those who love loli's in swimsuits... (once again do NOT look at me). Episode 6 totally made me laugh again as there was a random warning sign 'watch out for molesters' and what do you expect, the weird guy with the fetish for foreheads calls them. I just love this moment! IF we learned something already then it would be that Tooru is a super girl but she is more then that! She is, A SUPER NINJA GIRL STEALING YOUR APPLES!
I also love the voice actor they have placed with Tooru as the voice ends some topics quite funny. The new invented word of the year is ; Carbonated! Made from 5 words into one! Just another random moment that turned out epic.

There is one thing i fully support with my whole body and soul, and that is Nagi complaining about why we should come to school when it is winter and not having a winter break from school!
I'd support this like i supported nothing else before.
Taking a picture of a piece of cake is really a nice event to hold but without a picture taking of the cake then.

The last episode is nothing special as i thought it would be because it was the last one. No hints or clue's that give away that there would be a second season but oh well, we can't have it all do we?

I gave A channel a 3.5 out of 5 on Anime-Planet Extra information : The OP is smoothly done and the song is quite catchy. It shows some advertisements in a sneaky way and it even advertises the singers album and goes on.

Toradora!

~The Anima-Ture~

The first impression i had from Ryuu was that he was a playboy or a killer.

The first time he wakes inko-chan (the weird bird) he also wakes his mother just by passing her as she gropes his legs with a leglock.
He does have this weird relationship with his mother if you ask me and do not think wrongly of this.

It does show us that he hates his father and that everyone who knows his father, compares him with it.
The eyes are nicely drawn and that is what causes some weird moments.

One time a person with these eyes looks normal (mad), looks flustered (mad and a combined laugh face).

I had a laugh when they were talking about the Palmtop Tiger and he suddenly got the pun and gets smashed in the face by a little girl like it was nothing.

It was weird when he was alone with Taiga in the classroom in the first episode.

The chairs and school tables were flying around and i do know why it happenedFree Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us
(for those who don't know : it was Taiga running at the speed of light towards the locker to hide but due the fast speed it fell over and she rolled out)

It is quite funny how it did end up with the i promise to do anything for you- promise.

I also loved the moment he enters her apartment and all the filth was being censored and he completely lost it.

He prepares breakfast while he cleaned the room as in almost every Anime series they have breakfast with so much time in the morning.
I wonder at what time they have to be in school, i bet it ain't as early as i have to go to school every day...

I disliked Toradora at first because of the reactions that happened all the time.
'The Yankee, the rebel, the delinquent, palmtop tiger, killer-eyes' almost every single time.

I also hate the huge cliché that is hidden in this story.

All the lead characters know that the ones person loves this person and who they love in turn.

Then one person knows it and denies it or suddenly loves someone else and the story goes on.

Further on more and more people that barely get any screen timeFree Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us(except Ami) notice that Taiga loves Kitamura and that Ryuuji is slowly falling in love with Taiga.
In turn Ami is slowly getting to like Ryuuji altough she does not really show it.
Kushieda is like the outside insider.
No one knows anything about her besides the fact that she likes to work and sports or club activities.

It is actually about Taiga and Ryuuji becoming successfully with their deal which was that Ryuuji helped Taiga get together with Kitamura and Taiga helps Ryuugi get together with Kushieda.

However, at one point it is given a complete twist and Ryuuji found out that Taiga loves him.

She was lost due a fight that happened between Ami and Kushieda as she saw a jewel accessory flying away down the hill and went after it.

They went out to look for her and Ryuuji found Taiga buried under the snow and then heard her saying it which was a huge surprise as she thought he was Kitamura.

They did plan to hide it but unfortunately there was saint Valentinus that scooped the root and finally the last two episodes they blossomed to a real couple.
There is this one particular scene that made the perverts (don't look at me!) think 'they're totally going to do it now'.

The thing that annoys me the most is that Taiga suddenly changes her whole personality for these two episodes to the cute loli.

But at the end she returned to her old self. The brute yandere Palmtop Tiger.

I gave Toradora! a well deserved 4.5 out of 5 stars on Anime-Planet

~The Anima-Ture~

The first story is just frustrating!
Yes FIRST story.

These stories are made into a series.

The first story is about a young person that thinks he is a monster living among humans and he tries to understand them but despite all his efforts he seems to fail every time.
This is based on a real story that happened making it more interesting to follow.

The young man is an artist and he always drew the same thing when he was still living with his father, a demon.
For everyone else it was just a white painting with a colour mix of blue, red, purple and black.
It was how he saw himself and that 'self' became a living nightmare that would follow him everywhere.

He drew more portraits of that 'self' as it was posing for him until the young man finally decided to live as a human.

He is from a wealthy family and still robs the poor just for his amusement.

He has bad friends that leech his money and persuade him into things he doesn't want to do.

The young man is a person that we would call insane as he does not kill but he does get others to commit suicide together with him.

The ending of the first story is just making us frustrated because it ends how it was supposed too with the first attempt to die.

Story : Decent

Art : Decent

Series length : Decent

As for the second story i totally hate it.

The animation style is nice and the characters are all drawn well but i just hate the plot.

The warrior bandit is afraid of the cherry tree 'blossoms' because it drives people insane.

I don't know if this story is real but i highly doubt it as the bandit warrior had headphones in when he met his beloved wife who dominated over him in the era of the samurai.

She was a collector of heads and like any girl she liked to play 'dollhouse', she played it with her collection of heads.

Later on the 'beloved wife' gets murdered by the warrior bandit as he was insane from the start as he just hates the blossoming of the cherry trees.

The cherry tree, according to him had an ill aura in it and drove people insane and thus he went insane with her on his back thinking she was a demon that was going to kill him.

The third story is one that also happened for real and this time it was a very short story.

The person in question studies day in, day out hoping to reach something.

It is not clear why he committed suicide and it is also unclear what happened to the girl that drove him this far.

He fell in love with the girl and that girl was already given away by her mother to another man, living in the same house.

This is a very unclear story but yet is touching as the characters are drawn beautifully and their voices fit for a full 100%.

The fourth story is one that is simply superb.

The story 'Run Melos' is just so touching and showing us what real friendship is about.

I love this story from the moment it starts until the moment it ends.

The characters are drawn nicely and just fitting with the two stories that play simultaneously which created an awesome feeling when watching.

The fifth story is somehow weird.
A self proclaimed 'king' what should've been Emperor instead, is moving from street to street, from house to house and killing everyone that crosses his path.

He thought the 'king' was making too much noise and told him that when he was preaching on his royal parade carriage making the whole kingdom his enemy.

Once he got caught and the 'king' ordered his death, the whole series turned in a magical world full of demons or what we would call hell.
He now is haunted by the people he killed and he is killing himself over and over again.

The sixth story is part of the fifth story but this time it is not a murderer but an artist that is said to be the best in the world.
He could paint the hairs of a human to the fullest detail which pleased the 'king' and he ordered him to paint another great work.

The 'king' became furious once he found out what the artist has painted on his sacred tomb that is the place his royal body would be kept for eternity.

The artist wanted to draw the fires that are even worse than those from hell but he just couldn't unless he saw a man within those flames, screaming out of agony and pain.

I won't spoil much but there are many people burning at the start and two, maybe more, at the end.
I gave this series a 3.5 out of 5 stars at Anime planet
